Misty Moonlight & Strawberry Slush combo!

✨ Card One combines Misty Moonlight and Strawberry Slush for a fresh, berry-inspired look that feels bright, happy, and full of personality. With the embossed layer and distressed edges and hint of blending gave the perfect depth of torn dsp center. 

Lemon Lime Twist & Blueberry Bushell Combo!

✨ Card Two features Lemon Lime Twist and Blueberry Bushel, creating a vibrant and playful combination that's bursting with summertime energy. Creating my own background onto the blueberry base and blended hint of color and splatter gave perfect eye catching view behind the fruit.

Misty Moonlight & Crushed Curry Combo!

✨ Card Three pairs Misty Moonlight with Crushed Curry for a warm and classic color palette that is both bold and beautiful. Blending of the two colors and stamped image on top gave this card the perfect amount of elegance. 

Each card is unique in its own way, but all of them are filled with fun details, bright colors, and plenty of joy. These are the kinds of cards that are guaranteed to bring a smile to someone's face when they arrive in the mailbox.

Accordion Fold Pop-Up Card Tutorial

If you're looking for a card that is sure to impress, this Accordion Fold Pop-Up Card is the perfect project! From the outside it looks like a beautiful handmade card, but when opened it reveals a fun accordion center that creates an unexpected wow factor.

I love interactive cards because they make the recipient stop, smile, and take a second look. This design is surprisingly simple to create and can be customized for birthdays, friendship cards, encouragement cards, or any special occasion

Measurements

Card Base

• 5-1/2" x 8-1/2"
• Score at 4-1/4"

Accordion Insert

• 10" x 5-1/2"
• Score at:
  • 2", 3", 4", 5", 6", 7", 8"

Assembly

Fold the insert accordion-style, alternating mountain and valley folds. Attach only the 2" end panels to the inside of the card base. This allows the center folds to expand beautifully when the card is opened.

✨ Tip: Burnish each score line well with a bone folder to help the accordion fold smoothly and stand up nicely inside the card.

Interactive cards don't have to be complicated. This fold gives you:

• A dramatic pop-up effect
• Plenty of room for decorating

Silly Old Bear Suite Collection

Simple Slant Fun Fold Card Featuring the Silly Old Bear Suite

Looking for a fun fold that's easy to create but looks extra special? This Simple Slant Fun Fold Card is a beautiful way to showcase your favorite Designer Series Paper while adding a unique interactive element to your card design.

For this project, I used Barely Blush cardstock paired with the adorable Silly Old Bear Suite. The soft colors and sweet imagery make this card perfect for sending a little happiness to someone special.

One of my favorite things about this design is how the layered slant panels create movement and visual interest without requiring complicated measurements. It's a great project for beginners and experienced crafters alike!

The sweet sentiment reminds us:

"Sometimes, when you go looking for happiness, happiness finds you."

A perfect reminder to tuck inside a card and send to a friend who could use a smile.

 

Measurements

Card Base

• Barely Blush Cardstock: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2"
• Score at 4-1/4"

Inside Mat Layer

• Very Vanilla Cardstock: 8" x 4-3/4"
• Score at: 2", 4", 6"

Creating the Slant

1. Using a ruler, measure and mark 2" up from the bottom right corner with a pencil.
2. Cut a diagonal line from that mark to the top left corner to create the slanted edge.

Designer Series Paper

• Cut 4 pieces at 1-3/4" x 4-3/4"

Before adhering:

1. Place each DSP piece onto the slanted panel, positioning it approximately 1/4" above the bottom edge.
2. Trim off the excess at the top using scissors to match the slant.
3. Adhere the DSP panel.
4. Repeat for all four sections.

A Few Finishing Touches

To complete the card, I added:

• A layered focal image from the Silly Old Bear Suite
• Soft embellishments for a touch of sparkle
• Linen thread tied into a simple bow
• A heartfelt sentiment

These little details help bring the entire design together while still keeping the card clean and elegant.

Looking for a fun fold that looks impressive but comes together quickly? This Pop-Up Fun Fold Card is the perfect project! With just a few score lines and a few pieces of Designer Series Paper, you'll have a card that's interactive, beautiful, and sure to make someone smile.

For today's project, I used the adorable Meant for You Ephemera Pack, which makes decorating fast and easy. Simply layer your favorite pieces, add a sentiment, and you're ready to create!

Card Measurements

Card Base:

• 10" x 5-1/2"
• Score at: 4-1/4", 5-1/4", 7-1/4", and 8-1/4"

Left Side DSP:

• 5-1/4" x 1-3/4"

Right Side DSP:

• 5-3/8" x 2-1/8"
• 5-1/8" x 1-7/8"

Assembly Tips

1. Fold along all score lines and burnish well for crisp folds.
2. Adhere the Designer Series Paper to the designated panels.
3. Decorate the front using pieces from the Meant for You Ephemera Pack.
4. Add twine, embellishments, and a sentiment for the perfect finishing touch.
5. Write your personal message inside and send it off to brighten someone's day!
