Simple Paper Tote Bags

I’ll be showing you how to create two simple tote bags—

one using 12x12 paper and one with 6x6.

Whether you’re crafting for birthdays, showers, or just because, these little bags are perfect for any occasion!

Make sure to tune in every Friday at 4pm for a fun new tutorial.

To create the large bag start with a 12" X 12" sheet of DSP. Score at 1/2" and trim at 1" ((X2)) These will be used for your handles. Trim another 1" off. (note you won't use the last 1" piece trimmed off unless you decide to use it for creating)
Fold DSP in half and then score at 1" on folded end.
Make a snip after fold score lines inward up about 3/4". See in the video how.
Use double sided tape or multipurpose glue on one side.
Optional: Score top of bag 3/4" on both side and fold in to give a more finished look.
I used a 1/8" circle punch to create holes for my brads.

To Create the small bag start with a 6" X 6" sheet of DSP.
Will create the same concept. Score at 1/2" trim at 1" ((X2))  and do the same as above for assemble.

Watch how I created them and begin to create your very own. While you are there make sure to follow me and ring the bell so you never miss a tutorial. 🛍
