Tips & Tricks: Two Tone Stampin

Two-tone stamping is such a fun way to bring your images to life!
This technique adds extra dimension and detail by blending
two ink colors on a single stamp.

How to do it:

1. Place your stamp face-up on the table.
2. Use sponge daubers to apply your first ink color to select areas of the stamp.
3. Switch to a second sponge dauber and add your second ink color to the remaining areas.
4. For a gradient effect, concentrate one color in the center and the other on the outer edges.
5. Stamp onto your cardstock and watch the magic happen!
👉 Tip: Choose colors that blend well together. You can go with warm tones, cool tones, shades of the same color, or even try contrasting hues. A color wheel is a great reference for finding complementary pairs.

For my sample, I used the Gathering Moments stamp set:
🍄 Mushroom – Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, and a touch of Pecan Pie
🌰 Acorn – Crumb Cake and Pecan Pie
This technique is simple, but the results look like you spent hours perfecting the details!
