πŸŽ„ Holly Jolly Fun Fold Card — Festive, Simple, and So Much Fun to Create!

Today on the blog, I’m sharing a cheerful Christmas card made with the Holly Jolly Bundle — one of my absolute favorites this season! This fun fold design is easy to put together and adds a playful twist to your holiday cardmaking.

✂️ Project Measurements

Here’s everything you need to get started:

        Card Base:

  • 11" x 8-1/2" cardstock

  • Score at 5-1/2" on the long (11") side

  • Turn and score at 4-1/4" on the short (8-1/2") side

        Front Layer:

  • 4" x 5-1/4" cardstock

  • Emboss using the Jolly Holly Embossing Folder for beautiful texture

       Inside Layer:

  • Basic White cardstock: 4" x 5-1/4"

The Holly Jolly Bundle makes it easy to add adorable stamped images and sentiments that capture the magic of the season. Pair that with the textured embossing, and you have a card that’s cute, festive, and full of handmade charm!

🌻This Week’s Card Challenge – A Touch of Hope & Courage

For this week’s card challenge, I paired the Hope & Courage stamp set with the beautifully detailed 3D Sunflower Embossing Folder—and oh my goodness, these two together created the sweetest card full of encouragement and light.

The embossed sunflower adds so much texture and depth, and when combined with the uplifting sentiments from Hope & Courage, it becomes a card that truly feels like a hug in the mail. πŸ’›

I chose Pretty in Pink cardstock for this project, and it was the perfect touch—soft, warm, and full of gentle hope. It adds just the right amount of sweetness to balance the bold embossed sunflower.

If you need a meaningful card to lift someone up, this combo is absolutely beautiful. Simple elements… powerful message.

Happy crafting, friends! 🌻✂️

Tuesday Tips & Tricks: Soften Your DSP Edges with Crumb Cake Ink

Soften Your DSP Edges with Crumb Cake Ink

If you’ve never tried adding Crumb Cake ink around the edges of your Designer Series Paper… oh girl,

you’re about to fall in love. 😍
All you need is a sponge dauber, and this tiny

little tool works MAGIC.

Sponge daubers are one of my absolute favorite tools because they can completely change the look of your paper with

just a little ink.

Here’s what this technique can give your project:

Rustic feel
Vintage vibe
Distressed farmhouse look
Warmer, finished edges

Just lightly tap your dauber into Crumb Cake ink, then brush it along the edges of your DSP. Go soft for a subtle glow, or heavier for that distressed, antique look.

This trick is perfect for:
✨ Masculine cards
✨ Holiday plaids
✨ Country themes
✨ Anything that needs a softened, cozy edge

It’s quick. It’s easy. And it gives your projects that chef’s kiss handmade finish. πŸ’›

Give it a try on your next card and watch how it

transforms your designs.

πŸŽ„✨ This Week’s Sketch Challenge – Keeping Traditions DSP Spotlight

For this week’s sketch challenge, I reached for one of my absolute favorite papers of the season — the Keeping Traditions Designer Series Paper.

There’s just something magical about this pack…
The black, white, and gold color palette adds instant elegance, and even the simplest card layout suddenly feels elevated and classy

Using this DSP with the sketch challenge was the perfect combo — clean lines, beautiful patterns, and that touch of gold that makes the whole design shine. It’s amazing how one coordinating paper pack can transform a simple sketch into a stunning Christmas card.

If you love elegant, timeless holiday designs, Keeping Traditions is definitely one to add to your stash. Give this sketch a try and see how quickly it comes together!

Happy crafting, friends!

No Adhesive Pocket Treat Holder

1. Start with a 6" x 6" piece of DSP.
Fold it in half on the diagonal to create a triangle.

2. Create the front fold.
Take the top front tip of the triangle and fold it backward.

3. Measure your fold line.
Fold the bottom point up so the tip reaches the 4-1/4" mark (the center point of the triangle).

4. Lift and fold the sides.
With the front flap lifted, fold the right side inward so the point meets the center horizontal fold line.
Repeat with the left side.

5. Secure with the top flap.
Fold the top flap back down — this holds the pocket in place without any adhesive!

6. Decorate.
Add a sentiment, label, or little embellishment to the front.

7. Fill and finish.
Tuck in chocolates, tea bags, gift cards, or small goodies.
For an extra polished look, place the finished pocket inside a cellophane bag and tie with ribbon.

Want to see it step-by-step?

Watch my YouTube tutorial for a full demonstration and extra tips!

This is truly one of my favorite quick projects — simple, cute, and perfect for any season.
Enjoy creating your no-adhesive pocket treats! πŸ’›

BackStage Vegas — Final Day Roundup 🀠✨

The last day of our BackStage conference was the perfect blend of learning,

celebration, and pure fun!

We began the morning with a couple more Breakout Sessions, each filled with inspiration and practical ideas from leaders in our Stampin’ Up! community. After that, we gathered once more for our Final General Session, closing out the event with encouragement, recognition, and a whole lot of gratitude.

Lunch with friends. This picture was inspired with all the Christy, Kristina, Christina, Kelly
we ran into throughout the event. Victor (our new friend though it was a funny coincidence
and had to jump in the shot.

My favorite part and what stuck out to me the most was the paper chain, TEAM building. Alone we can do so little together we can do so much. Each of us writing what we bring to our team back home.

Sneak Peak at the mini 2026 catalog coming soon.

But the real magic?
The evening celebration! πŸŽ‰

I love this sweet lady ( Connie Stewart) , she always bursting with joy and excitement.

Stampin’ Up! hosted an unforgettable send-off featuring:

🀠 Line dancing
🎀 Karaoke (yes, we sang our hearts out!)
πŸ‘’ Design-your-own cowboy hat — complete with hat branding stations!
πŸ’› Mingling with friends old and new

Met this precious lady a few years back and look forward to seeing her each event.
Always full of fun and laughter.

We kicked off the morning with General Session, where Stampin’ Up! shared exciting updates, recognition, and motivation to carry into the next year. I always leave these sessions feeling refueled and deeply grateful to be part of such a supportive and uplifting community.

Next came the Breakout Sessions, where we were able to choose from several incredible speakers and leaders within the SU! family. Each session offered priceless insight — from business growth to creative leadership to nurturing community. I walked away with pages of notes and so many ideas I can't wait to implement for our team.

Love this sweet lady Brenda Paulsen always so kind and special to the core.

Evening Adventures with My Daughter πŸ’•

After a full day of learning and inspiration, my daughter and I headed out for a relaxing dinner. We explored the resort and surrounding area, taking in some beautiful sculptures and artwork along the way.

It was one of those simple, perfect evenings — the kind that reminds you how meaningful quality time really is. Having her with me on this trip has made BackStage even more memorable, and I’m soaking up every moment.

Day two was full, heartwarming, and inspiring in all the best ways.
Stay tuned — Day Three is coming next!
