This week’s card sketch challenge was so much fun, and I couldn’t resist pulling out the Gathering Together Designer Series Paper to create this adorable birthday card. The colors and patterns in this DSP add such a warm, cozy touch
— perfect for fall birthdays or anyone who loves that rustic, nature-inspired look.
I followed the sketch layout as my guide, then mixed and matched a few coordinating patterns to bring the design to life. A simple stamped sentiment and a couple of embellishments were all it needed to finish it off!
Sketch challenges are one of my favorite ways to spark creativity — the layout does the heavy lifting, and all you have to do is play with colors and paper you love.
